The Illinois Education Foundation (IEF) is a public/private partnership that broadens opportunities to low-income, high-potential community college students by providing a comprehensive scholarship program. IEF scholarships combine “last dollar” financial assistance along with a full set of academic support services — including mentoring, tutoring and academic advising — to empower more Illinois college students to achieve their degrees and reach their full potential.
The IEF is helping community college students like Anarosa, Didi, and Amanda achieve their dreams. We are proud to report that IEF scholars are succeeding. This year, 90 percent of our scholars continue to excel in their studies and make progress towards achieving their degrees.
With your support, their potential is limitless.
Please consider a gift to the IEF.
The IEF is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization registered in the State of Illinois. Donations to the IEF are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
We are currently redeveloping the IEF website to better serve our scholars and supporters. We are excited to unveil the new site in early 2010. For any questions you may have about the IEF and its programs, please feel free to contact us via email or phone in our main office.
We welcome you to download a PDF of our 2009 Annual Report to learn more about our organization.
