AT THE IEF, WE TARGET THE 60%

The 60% of Illinois college students who attend community college but who are largely ignored by scholarship providers in our state, which still focus on 4-year schools.

At the Illinois Education Foundation, we believe that all students who have the passion to succeed deserve the opportunity to attend college. The IEF takes a 360-degree approach that combines last-dollar scholarship funding with academic support services such as mentoring, tutoring, and academic advising to ensure the highest possible rate of success for our students.

Working alongside our partner community colleges, the IEF is helping to create a new generation of financially independent young adults who will not only become productive members of the workforce and society, but who will also be in a better position to provide for their children those opportunities they were once denied.

Formed as a public/private partnership enterprise, the Illinois Education Foundation is blending resources and leadership from the worlds of business, government and education into one common coalition to help those students who are most in need (click here to view IEF partners)

We hope you, too, will join us in this educational movement that benefits not only Illinois college students – but all of Illinois!
