Eric Davis

Executive Director

Eric brings to the IEF his extensive experience with public, charter, and private schools, non-profit organizations, camps, and universities.  His professional life in the field began at age 16 when he earned his first coaching position.  Since then he has coached, taught middle- and high-school, and served as Executive Director for several organizations.  Eric refined his innovative approach to teaching and learning as founder and director of Educational Endeavors and as founder and current board member of Camp of Dreams.  Eric continues his pursuit of learning at international workshops and conferences and through the daily interaction he enjoys with professionals dedicated to improving lives of youth and adults.

 


William Collins

Scholarship Coordinator

Will Collins serves as a scholarship & student recruitment coordinator for the Daniel M. Kerrane, Jr. Scholarship and the Signature Scholarship. Will, a graduate of the Chicago Public Schools and the first person in his family to earn a graduate degree, is passionate about increasing the number of CPS graduates earning degrees at postsecondary institutions. Will earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

 


Risa Denenfeld

Program Coordinator

Risa serves as a scholarship coordinator, personally assisting 20 students receiving the DMK and Signature Scholarships.  She is also responsible for all recruitment and coordination of the IEF mentor program.  Risa completed her Bachelor's degree in Social Relations from Michigan State University in 2005 and graduated with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan in April 2007.
